When I look to the ocean I see dichotomy in an effortless dance, revealing stillness within dynamic rush. I paint as meditation, but also to create something tangible from this place of harmonic being.

Though I work with reverence for nature’s beauty as it appears, it is also inner movement, emotional flux, & spiritual experience I seek through art. I believe this to be an ongoing process, informed by both the subjectivity of witnessing and a deepening of technical exploration across time.

Jasmine works primarily in acrylic mediums and her paintings range up to six feet in length. She is currently based in Maine, USA.
